How it works
From what you know to what you are known for
Tractionim separates three things most tools blur together: what you know, how you choose to be seen, and how the world actually responds. Recommendations come from the gaps between them.
1. A guided intake
Thirteen short sections, about 20–30 minutes in total, saved as you type. You describe your expertise and how deep it goes, the reputation you want and what it should lead to, the audiences you want to reach, the proof you can show, your current LinkedIn and X presence, the content you dislike and the boundaries that protect your employer, clients and private life. Sections that do not apply to you can be skipped.
2. A drafted Brand Model
From your answers only, Tractionim drafts your positioning, audiences, content territories with target weights, goals, voice and the proof the strategy leans on. It explains why it proposed each part, flags tensions that need your decision, and keeps aspiration apart from demonstrated expertise. Reference-only proof shapes the judgment but is never quoted.
3. Your approval
You correct anything that is wrong and approve the model explicitly. Nothing becomes active silently. Later, revising creates a new version with a note on what changed and why, so your strategy keeps a history instead of being overwritten.
4. The learning loop In development
Next, the approved model plans what to publish and why, each item with a strategic reason and an expected learning. You publish yourself; Tractionim never posts for you. Response is read in layers (attention, resonance, authority, opportunity), and strategy changes only when the evidence is consistent, never because of one post.
Key terms
- Brand Model
- A versioned, explicit model of how you choose to be seen publicly: current and target positioning, audiences, content territories, goals, voice, proof, boundaries, differentiators and strategic gaps. It changes only with your approval.
- Content territory
- A recurring area you publish about, connecting something you know to something a specific audience needs. Each territory has a target share of your output and a maturity: core, emerging, experimental, incubation or avoid.
- Reference-only proof
- Evidence of your expertise that informs the strategy but whose specifics never appear in content, such as confidential projects or client outcomes.
- Strategic gap
- A place where your target positioning is ahead of your current proof or depth. Gaps tell you what to learn or build before claiming more.
